Foreclosure.com Review
Listing Information: Excellent
Foreclosure.com includes one of the most comprehensive lists of foreclosed properties we reviewed. With more than one million properties located nationwide, including D.C. and Puerto Rico. They include listings for properties in REO, NOD, Notice of Sale, Auction or those repossessed by the government like HUD, VA or Fannie Mae.
However, Foreclosure.com is missing a few detail items like the post's listing date, equity percentage, default amount and sales history.
Additional Tools: Excellent
Foreclosure.com includes a few additional resources such as community information, listing alerts, Zestimates provided by Zillow, how to prevent foreclosure, bankruptcy laws and state specific laws. Foreclosure.com also has several interesting calculators.
Customer Service: Excellent
We found Foreclosure.com to be a safe and secure website with valid security certificates and https encrypted pages at all states of the sign-up process. Additionally, they provide telephone, email and live chat support for questions not addressed in the FAQ.
Foreclosure.com offers a free seven day trial, but you need to provide your credit card information. Our only complaint about Foreclosure.com's customer service is all cancellations need to be done through their "cancellation" page. They will not accept cancellations through email, phone or fax. The "cancellation" page is located on the member's login screen.
Summary: Excellent
Foreclosure.com has consistently proven to be one of the best foreclosure listing services on the Internet. Whether you are a homebuyer or a serious investor, the information Foreclosure.com provides is invaluable. We found the only thing truly holding this site back is that it does not list the date the property was posted. However, all information does appear to be very up to date and current.
